The Cricketers, River.

The Cricketers is a friendly village pub catering for all ages, situated in the village of River, located opposite the crabble cricket and rugby pitches, and home of Dover football club.

The Cricketers has been an important focal point for the community for over 100 years. With one of the largest gardens in the area, our family facilities include a childrens play area and swings, with bouncy castle in summer, covered barbeque area and patio, and extensive lawns.

Our Sports facilities include two full-size skittle alleys, dart board and pool table. We play host to numerous sports teams including skittles and darts. We also have a spacious upstairs function room where we can cater for private parties of up to 100 people- covering wedding receptions, birthdays, anniversary parties, funeral wakes, childrens parties, office parties, and business seminars (laser projector and screen available). Over many years The Cricketers has established a reputation for warm and friendly hospitality. We look forward to welcoming old and new friends for a relaxing drink in convivial surroundings.
